Prepares an d reviews case historiesand obtains data through interviews. Examines patients an d determinesx-ray examinations an d clinical laboratory tests required. Interpretstest results an d evaluates examination findings. Conducts ward roundsand prescribes therapy. Administers an d prescribes treatment such asantibiotics, drugs, an d compresses. Performs minor surgical procedures.Determines need for an d assists in specialized medical care andtreatment. May be granted additional privileges based on documentedproficiency. 2. Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee 3. Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other pediatricians an d Department Chairperson 4. Will work closely with the Department Chairperson in supportingdepartmental goals 5. May be granted additional responsibilities based on consultation withDepartment Chairperson.
